Boundary County has many different micro-climates. We have had snow as late as June 6th and frost as early as September 1st.  The maps are a fair guide but vary a great deal in Bonners Ferry.  Gardners are use to rolling with the punches, so things won't be any different here.  We have been known to go 2-3 months without rain in the summer.  So obviously, water is of great importance when choosing a home.
This is a semi-arid climate area.
